Our theme of the week has been understanding the world.
Some of the things the children have enjoyed doing include:

• learning all about the festival Holi
• learning all about the different colours and what happens when you mix them
• matching colours with Easter baskets and eggs
• playing listening games
• playing with musical instruments
• matching pictures to the correct letter
• making Easter cards
• decorating eggs
• phonics and literacy activities and games
• having an Easter hunt
• making Spring pictures
• lots of outside fun in the garden
• enjoying stories and looking at books
• lots of fun painting, sticking, gluing and mark making fun

As usual the weekly blog represents a snapshot of what most of the children participate in during the week. Please speak to your child's key person if you would like to have further information about your child's interests and progress. You are welcome to ask your key person for feedback at any time and book a time to have a meeting for feedback on how your child is progressing.
