Weekly Blog: Week beginning 23rd of September 2024
We are halfway through this half term and we have participated in lots of fun games and learning this week.
Activities we have done include:
- investigating our Autumn tuff tray and scooping out and decorating pumpkins
- making paper plate pumpkins
- fingerprint Autumn painting
- yoga sessions
- making Alien pictures out of different shapes
- building animals with duplo
- role playing in the car and also our post office
- making a stained glass window
- playing ring games
- learning about herbs
- painting by rolling conkers in paint
- lots of puzzles
- listening and attention games
- phonics matching games with the initial letter sound and singing jolly phonics songs
- lots of sticking, painting and cutting crafting
- nature walks
- learning about Autumn
- throwing, catching balls
- lots of digging
- listening to musical stories
- painting and drawing
- speech and language activities
- looking at logos
- colour matching and recognition
- an introduction to shapes
