Weekly Blog: Week beginning 14th October 2024
We have had another busy week and we have participated in lots of fun
games and learning this week.
Activities we have done include:
- designing pumpkins at the art table
- practicing number recognition and number formation
- learning about our five senses
- spotting Autumn things in our 'what can I see?' game
- riding on bikes in the garden
- finding a real frog in the garden and then learning all about the life
cycle of a frog
- lots of cutting skills activities
- lots of stories
- making superhero lollipop characters
- lots of puzzles
- listening and attention games
- did some Halloween craft
- phonics matching games with the initial letter sound and singing jolly
phonics songs
- learnt about Sukkot
- sorting living and non living things
- playing with play dough in our ice-cream shop
- learning Halloween songs
- Halloween finger painting activities
- making masks
- participating in my little pony yoga
- playing initial sounds lotto

given you some fine motor ideas to help develop fingers for pencil
control.
