Weekly Blog: 28th May 2021

The sun has finally emerged and we have enjoyed lots of dry outdoor play.

This week we have:
  • painting, glitter, glue
  • phonics games and songs
  • lots of puzzles and board games
  • writing notecards on our tuff tray
  • talking about different textures with shells and natural objects
  • going on a treasure hunt in the garden
  • writing in sand and playing in the giant sand pit
  • making enclosures with construction materials
  • we had show and tell with some of the children as they brought in pictures to show the group, please feel free to let your child bring in photos or objects to share at group time
  • talking about what pets we had at group circle time
  • talking about going to the dentist and looking after our teeth
  • sorting pictures of healthy and unhealthy food and learning what foods are good for our teeth
  • listening to various stories
  • playing at looking after each other while role playing hospitals

As usual the weekly blog represents a snapshot of what most of the children participate in during the week. Please speak to your child's key person if you would like to have further information about your child's interests and progress. You are welcome to ask your key person for feedback at any time and book a time to have a meeting for feedback on how your child is progressing.

Hoping you all have a lovely half term break, we are back on Monday the 7th of June.
