Weekly Blog: 25th June 2021

It has been another busy week at playgroup and we have enjoyed a lot of fun activities.

This week we have:
  • had a creative morning junk modelling outside with lots of boxes and craft materials
  • played spot the shape in the garden
  • had lots of discussions in groups encouraging confidence at speaking in front of others
  • decorated animal masks
  • role played a lot of superhero stories while dressing up
  • learnt about places around the world with our map and atlas
  • enjoyed water painting in the front playground
  • continued to play lots of phonic games
  • counted objects and matched them to numerals
  • practised writing our names
  • made up rhythms while playing with the musical instruments
  • enjoyed lots of stories
  • had fun with craft materials, gluing, painting and cutting
  • made obstacle courses in the garden

As usual the weekly blog represents a snapshot of what most of the children participate in during the week. Please speak to your child's key person if you would like to have further information about your child's interests and progress. You are welcome to ask your key person for feedback at any time and book a time to have a meeting for feedback on how your child is progressing.

Hoping you all have a lovely weekend.
Best wishes, Julia, Grace, Sharon, Lisa, Hannah, Jackie and Amy
