We have started a new half term and our topic for November will be fairy tales, focusing on a different fairy tale each week. In December we will focus on learning about Christmas around the world and enjoying lots of festivities. This week we focused on Goldilocks and the three bears.

Activities we have done include:

• designing pumpkins and a pumpkin character
• learning about the colour wheel, cool and warm colours and doing a sunset painting
• pencil control and fine motor skill activities
• going on an Autumn nature walk
• number matching numeral and quantity
• phonics initial sounds listening game
• lots of cutting skills activities
• lots of stories
• jolly phonic songs and singing nursery rhymes
• lots of puzzles
• listening and attention games
• tracing 2d shapes
• dancing freeze songs
