We have just completed two weeks on the fun topic of 'In the jungle'..

• making parrots
• going on a jungle bear hunt
• jungle songs
• jungle noises and action games
• jolly phonic songs and singing nursery rhymes
• jungle counting activities
• cutting out jungle pictures
• music, movement and action songs
• playing guess the jungle animal
• mark making and pencil control activities
• painting jungle pictures
• jungle puzzles and games
• lots of name recognition activities and name writing practice
• looking at logos
• matching numerals to quantities of objects (up to ten)
• listening games
• rhyming games
• counting games
• matching animals to their babies
• learning all about chinese new year, making dragon pictures, chinese lanterns and taking part in dragon dancing
