Weekly Blog: 17th March 2023
This week we have had a weekly topic all based around British Science week, St Patricks Day and Mothers Day. We have:

  • enjoyed science experiments including: shaving foam clouds, superhero magnets, cola fountains, looking at breath and sinking and floating.
  • we learnt about St Patricks Day and how it is celebrated
  • we also learnt about Mothers Day and made cards
  • our tuff tray activities included making potions, which helped with pouring skills, colour mixing and learning about capacity
  • another tuff tray was learning about different textures and the vocabulary around this
  • we also enjoyed magnets and finding magnetic things
  • learnt new vocabulary using scientific words such as oxygen
  • talked about the five senses
  • had lots of stories, songs and outside time and a lot of fun in the craft area painting, drawing and sticking

As usual the weekly blog represents a snapshot of what most of the children participate in during the week. Please speak to your child's key person if you would like to have further information about your child's interests and progress. You are welcome to ask your key person for feedback at any time and book a time to have a meeting for feedback on how your child is progressing.
Hoping you all have a lovely weekend.

Best wishes, Julia, Grace, Sharon, Lisa, Hannah and Amy
