This week we have had a weekly topic all based on My Family. We have:

• *talked about who is in our family
• drawn pictures of our family
• learnt about our family tree
• played my family matching games
• role played different members of our family
• this week the children have enjoyed learning about self care and enjoyed playing role play hairdressers
• we have enjoyed lots of outside time in the sandpit and playing with water, hoops, balls, diggers and giant duplo
• we have practised our cutting skills and mark making
• enjoyed counting and number games and rhymes
• enjoyed dancing and listening to music
• had lots of stories, looked at books about different families and had a lot of fun in the craft area painting, drawing and sticking

As usual the weekly blog represents a snapshot of what most of the children participate in during the week. Please speak to your child's key person if you would like to have further information about your child's interests and progress. You are welcome to ask your key person for feedback at any time and book a time to have a meeting for feedback on how your child is progressing.
