Weekly Blog: 19th May 2023
This week we have had a weekly topic all based on The Farm
We have:
  • listened to descriptions of animals and guessed what they are
  • enjoyed farmyard yoga
  • talked about rules and behaviour when we have visitors due to our photographer visiting this week
  • making a display farmyard with the children contributing footprint carrots and handprint chicks
  • the children also enjoyed using stencil and practising their pencil control
  • counted farm animals
  • learnt about shapes while completing a farm puzzle
  • listened to lots of farm stories
  • learnt about what animals live on the farm and where
  • learnt about why certain animals are kept on the farm
  • learnt about farm animals and their babies
  • had lots of stories, songs and outside time and a lot of fun in the craft area painting, drawing and sticking

As usual the weekly blog represents a snapshot of what most of the children participate in during the week. Please speak to your child's key person if you would like to have further information about your child's interests and progress. You are welcome to ask your key person for feedback at any time and book a time to have a meeting for feedback on how your child is progressing.

Hoping you all have a lovely weekend. Best wishes, Julia, Grace, Sharon, Lisa,
Hannah and Amy
