Our theme of the week has been based on the fairy-tale 'The Three Little Pigs'.
Some of the things the children have enjoyed doing include:

• playing with the fam animals in small world pay
• creating house pictures with straw, sticks and pictures of bricks
• acting out the story as a group
• moving our bodies in a yoga session
• playing phonics lotto matching three letter words to pictures
• lots of mark making and hand writing practice
• making three little pigs masks
• lots of stories, listening games and looking at books
• maths activities including counting and number recognition games
• painting with our feet!
• lots of pencil and fine motor control activities
• lots of child initiated play and free art

As usual the weekly blog represents a snapshot of what most of the children participate in during the week. Please speak to your child's key person if you would like to have further information about your child's interests and progress. You are welcome to ask your key person for feedback at any time and book a time to have a meeting for feedback on how your child is progressing. Hoping you all have a lovely weekend.
