Weekly Blog: 29th September to 3rd October 2025
This week we have focused on understanding the world with lots of fun games and activities.
Activities we have enjoyed include, alongside other child initiated activities are:
- learning about our families and making a family display board
- enjoyed our role play garden centre and learned about caring for plants
- printing with different objects
- learning about different occupations
- outside we have been riding bikes and scooters
- we have developed fine motor skills by doing pencil control activities
- every day we have been doing phonic activities and maths number games and number recognition
- we enjoyed painting in the garden
- we have enjoyed doing lots of puzzles
- playing small world with our farm set
- we made flower pictures
- we made people pictures with different materials including wool and lollipop sticks
- enjoyed lots of mark making
- we have sung lots of rhymes and enjoyed dancing the children have continued to enjoy drawing, making pictures with glue and stickers and painting
- listened to story cds
- enjoyed looking at google maps and learning about our world
- we played instruments and enjoyed tapping out a rhythm
