Weekly Blog: 22nd to 26th September 2025
 This week we have focused on expressive arts and design, continuing to build on friendships and having lots of fun games and activities.
Activities we have enjoyed include, alongside other child initiated activities are:
- investigated our light and reflection tuff tray, a great opportunity to use descriptive words
- made Autumn paintings
- created Autumn tree pictures
- made Autumn crowns
- made Autumn suncatchers
- enjoyed cutting and sticking tractor pictures
- enjoyed role playing hairdressers
- outside we have been riding bikes and scooters
- we have developed fine motor skills by doing pencil control activities
- every day we have been doing phonic activities and maths number games and number recognition
- we have made biscuits
- we have enjoyed doing lots of puzzles
- built lots of models with duplo
- enjoyed lots of mark making
- we have sung lots of rhymes, played with musical instruments and enjoyed dancing
- the children have continued to enjoy drawing, making pictures with glue and stickers and stamping with ink
- listened to story cds
