Weekly Blog: 3rd to 7th November 2025
This week we have again focused on the story Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Activities we have enjoyed include, alongside other child initiated activities:
  • learning about bonfire night and safety with fireworks
  • we made firework pictures with glitter and paint
  • every day we have been doing phonological activities and maths number games and puzzles
  • we read and acted out the story of Goldilocks and the three bears
  • we made patterns for fine motor development in glitter
  • we have enjoyed doing lots of puzzles
  • we ordered pictures of bears into size order
  • lots of cutting practice
  • developed our pouring and spooning skills with porridge oats
  • made 3d fireworks with tubes
  • also practiced spooning and pouring with cornflakes
  • enjoyed lots of mark making
  • we have sung lots of rhymes and enjoyed dancing the children have continued to enjoy drawing, making pictures with glue and stickers and painting
  • listened to story cds
  • made paper doll goldilocks
  • role played the story of the three bears and also playing mechanics with our car and play tools
  • made models with play dough
