Weekly Blog: 7th January 2022
A Happy New Year to everyone! It is lovely to see the children again after the half term break and hear all about the fun they had in the holidays.

This week we have enjoyed a variety of new activities which have included:
  • mark making and copying patterns in glitter sand
  • talking about our holidays at group time and what we had for Christmas
  • talking about what we hope to do in the new year at group time
  • enjoyed lots of craft, cutting, sticking and painting
  • enjoyed listening to music and playing listening games
  • modelling with play dough
  • enjoyed role play
  • had a lot of stories
  • built structures with duplo
  • played phonics games
  • counted using dice
  • learnt about 2d shapes, their properties and going on a shape hunt
  • completed our daily calendar, sang our hello song and days of the week song and talked about the weather and seasons

As usual the weekly blog represents a snapshot of what most of the children participate in during the week. Please speak to your child's key person if you would like to have further information about your child's interests and progress. You are welcome to ask your key person for feedback at any time and book a time to have a meeting for feedback on how your child is progressing.

Hoping you all have a lovely weekend.
Best wishes, Julia, Grace, Sharon, Lisa, Hannah, Jackie and Amy
