Weekly Blog: 12th May 2023
This week we have had a weekly topic all based on Spring and our book of the week has been Hello Spring by Jo Lindley
We have:
  • read our book of the week and talked about the signs of Spring
  • made a blossom tree with real blossom
  • looked outside for the signs of Spring
  • read stories about helping each other and being friends
  • practised our phonics by matching letters to letter flowers
  • played matching games
  • learnt new spring songs and sang lots of songs, especially number rhymes
  • talked about the weather and the seasons
  • caught bubbles outside and did a lot of chalking in the front playground
  • had lots of stories, songs and outside time and a lot of fun in the craft area painting, drawing and sticking

As usual the weekly blog represents a snapshot of what most of the children participate in during the week. Please speak to your child's key person if you would like to have further information about your child's interests and progress. You are welcome to ask your key person for feedback at any time and book a time to have a meeting for feedback on how your child is progressing.

Hoping you all have a lovely weekend. Best wishes, Julia, Grace, Sharon, Lisa,
Hannah and Amy
